Since its launch in 2014, the San Francisco Jewish Women’s Fund, a Giving Circle of the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation,  has focused grantmaking on economic,  social and leadership vulnerabilities faced by Jewish women and girls in the Bay Area and in Israel.

In 2019, SFJWF granted $272,000 to four organizations and celebrated its 5-year anniversary. In 2020, SFJWF will grant $300,000 in the areas of health and wellbeing, economic security and leadership development. The mission of the SFJWF is to strengthen the Jewish community by helping women and girls in the Jewish community thrive. With this expression of tikkun olam, we deepen our connection to each other and to our Jewish heritage.
